Samsung Galaxy Camera available through AT&T starting Nov. 16th

The Samsung Galaxy Camera is finally coming to the United States this Friday, November 16th. The camera will be sold for $500 and will not require a data plan or contract, which is great news for those that really are only interested in using the camera over Wi-Fi.

For those that need a refresher, the camera is powered by 1.4GHz Exynos quad-core processor and has a large 4.8-inch HD display. Other features include 8GB storage, microSDXC, 3G/LTE radio, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, HDMI, WiFi, 1,650mAh battery, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

If you are interested in an optional data package, AT&T gives you a few different choices:

  • AT&T Mobile Share: $10 to share between 1 GB and 20GB
  • AT&T DataConnect 250MB: $15 for 250MB
  • AT&T DataConnect 3GB: $30 for 3GB
  • AT&T DataConnect 5GB: $50 for 5GB

While an Android-powered camera might not be for everyone, it certainly could be perfect for those that like the idea of taking their pictures and instantly sending them off into the cloud for sharing and storage. Having access to Android apps for editing is also another perk. Are you interested in picking up the Samsung Galaxy Camera?
