Get three iWonderSky video utilities for free

This no-strings-attached Cheapskate exclusive includes a DVD ripper, video converter, and watermark applicator. Combined value: $105!

Why settle for one freebie when you can get three?

From now until Oct. 19, iWonderSky Software (which I believe was formally known as WonderFox Software) is offering CNET readers this exclusive: three Windows video utilities absolutely free.

First up: WonderFox DVD Ripper. Normally $39.95, it can convert just about any DVD into just about any digital format. It comes with profiles for a wide variety of mobile devices, though there’s no mention of the iPhone 5 (which a few competing products now support).

Next: HD Video Converter Factory Pro. If you already have some movies or other video clips in a format that’s not compatible with your intended playback device, this utility (normally $29.95) should be able to convert them.

It supports some 150 video and audio formats, and, like the ripper, includes profiles for loads of popular devices.

Finally, there’s Video Watermark Pro, a $34.95 utility that lets you design a watermark and add it to your own videos — not a huge draw for most users, granted, but still a valuable freebie.

To get any one of these products, click the corresponding Download button, install it, and then copy/paste the supplied activation code to register it. If you ignore that last step, you’ll end up with trial versions!

iWonderSky conveniently lists each activation code right on the landing page, so you don’t have to wait on an e-mail or go hunting inside a text file. They’re right there, people! (Grin.)

All told, these apps would run you around $105 if purchased separately. Obviously not everyone will need all three, but grab the ones you want while you can. Even if you don’t need them now, who knows what the future will hold (other than the Tigers finishing off the Yankees in four, of course)?
